REALM: LET’S GET CONNECTED

 REALM is a very powerful program that allows us to sort and network lots of information and allows you, the parishioner, to contribute your pledge, enter your data, put your picture in it, keep it up to date, and check your tax information. You’ll be able to join a committee, sign up to be a Worship Leader, see who’s on the vestry or who is running for the vestry. It’s so user-friendly!

How to get started

  1. Visit https://onrealm.org/ascensionmdto set up a Realm login.
  2. To use the Realm Connect mobile app, visit https://www.acstechnologies.com/products/realm/features/connect-mobile-app to download the app. 
  3. Your Realm login works on your home computer and on your mobile devices, so when you sign into Realm, use the login you created in step 1 for the computer or the app.  Check to make sure that we have your address and other personal information entered correctly under My Profile. If anything is incorrect, you can change it.   

Set up a Pledge

Set up your pledge information.

  1. Sign into your site.
  2. Click Giving on the main menu.
  3. Click + Pledge, enter your pledge information, and save. You will receive an email once you meet your pledge.

Giving from Your Profile

You can contribute any amount using the button on your profile. If you want, you can set up recurring gifts or payments.

  1. Sign in to your site.
  2. Click Giving.
  3. Click Give. If you don’t see this button, contact your church, and ask them about online giving.
  4. Enter the amount you want to give, then select the fund.
    1. If the fund has the memo field enabled, complete this field to add a note.
    2. To give to more than one fund at once, click Another Fund.
  5. Select a gift frequency.
    • Give Once–Select a date to give a one-time gift.
    • Give Multiple Times–Select a frequency by which your gift will recur. If you set up a recurring online gift, you will receive an email when the end date has been reached.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Enter your payment method, or select one that you saved.
    • . Optional: If you want to add a new payment method, select Enter a different payment methodthan one you already have.
  8. Click Give. A confirmation message displays.
  9. If you want to turn your one-time gift into a scheduled gift, select the check box and a frequency for the gift. Otherwise, click Finish.

What about my privacy?

Your privacy is one of our greatest concerns. Realm is only made up of the people in your church, it’s not like a social network that’s open to everyone. Realm keeps your data safe and gives you control over what information you share and who can see it.

Give Via Text Message

Give any amount to your church using your smart phone.

  1. Text your church’s keyword and amount to 73256on your smart phone.
  2. Once the text is sent, you will receive a confirmation message.
  3. Click the link in the confirmation message to access the payment form.
  4. Complete the payment form and verify the amount and fund.
  5. When finished, click Give.
  6. You will receive a receipt by text and email.
  7. Your payment information is saved for future gifts.

Give as a Guest

You can contribute any amount from the church’s website. If you want, you can set up recurring gifts and payments.

  1. Click the giving link on the website of the church you’re giving to.
  2. Enter the amount you want to give, then select the fund.
    1. If the fund has the memo field enabled, complete this field to add a note.
    2. To give to more than one fund at once, click Another Fund.
  3. Select a gift frequency

Change Your Payment Method

Add, update, or delete the credit card, debit card, or bank account information you use to make online contributions to your church. You can also view any messages about failed or delayed contributions.

  1. Sign into your site.
  2. Click Giving.
  3. Inside the column on the right, click Manage Payment Methods.
  4. To add a new payment method, click Add Payment Method. Complete the fields, then click Save.
  5. To update or delete a payment type, click and select Edit Account or Delete Account. Complete the onscreen fields
